DescriptionThe Colorado Center is a premier group practice of psychotherapists in Denver and Greenwood Village, operating since 2010 with a director who has been practicing in the Denver area since 1998. We are seeking a gifted, very well-trained, full-time doctoral-level psychologist (licensed or about to be licensed in Colorado) to join us in our Denver and Greenwood Village (DTC) practice. The opening is for the Greenwood Village (DTC) office. We are especially receptive to a native Spanish speaker though this is not a requirement.
The Colorado Center offers an opportunity for clinicians who are looking for clinical freedom, talented and caring colleagues, and a thriving practice without the burden of business hassles, costs, and risks. Our therapists have excellent communication and documentation skills, and enjoy a team environment. We are especially open to clinicians from diverse backgrounds and also value therapists who have a clear specialization in their approach or population served.
We are a practice that believes self-care is important and we practice what we preach by taking care of our therapists. We offer a generous and comprehensive benefits package that shows we care about our team's well-being. Benefits include:
- MEDICAL
- DENTAL
- VISION
- PET INSURANCE
- DISABILITY INSURANCE
- PAID TIME OFF (new hires: 2 weeks for full-time; goes up to 5 weeks)
- PAID MALPRACTICE INSURANCE
- CE STIPEND
- 401k RETIREMENT PLAN WITH EMPLOYER MATCHING
- A great physical work environment with extremely good sound-attenuation
We do great work with high-functioning, sophisticated, and motivated patients, and we also help workers who have been injured or traumatized on the job in a special program that provides therapy at no cost to the patient. We strongly prefer in-person therapy now that the threat of covid transmission is so attenuated. Yet we also have high-performance HEPA filtration in all of our offices. If you prefer in-person therapy and only want to do teletherapy when necessary (e.g., if the patient is located hours away), then you are a candidate for us. If you think there's no real difference or you prefer teletherapy, you are not a good candidate for us. We believe presence is important. So if you are interested in joining a company that truly values you, your diversity, and your experience, please get a sense of our practice by carefully reviewing our website, and apply now.
