Job Summary
The Vice President of Operations (VPO) supports the leaders of partner clinical practices by providing the operational and administrative leadership necessary to deliver Patient-Centered care. The primary purpose of the VPO is to optimize the practices’ clinical and administrative services for ultimate productivity, sustainability, and revenue growth. The VPO supports contract requirements, quality improvement programs, workflow, cost containment initiatives, and develops goals that align with the company’s strategic plans and the affiliated clinical practices’ needs.
Responsibilities :
- Identifies and maintains relationships with key contract decision makers at assigned partner practices.
- Assists with preparation and presentation of periodic operating reviews, and other reviews as required.
- Provides effective and timely communication throughout the organization, with clinicians and partner practices to ensure all reporting is completed timely and accurately; act as central point of contact for operational issues impacting partner practices within the assigned region.
- Ensures compliance with each partner practice’s service agreement and incentives.
- Supports partner practices in meeting requirements related to quality, productivity, and other partner practices’ initiatives.
- Facilitates regional operations meetings (recruiting, credentialing, scheduling) to ensure seamless operations as well as clinician satisfaction.
- Participates in monthly meetings as assigned by CCO (service line meetings, operating reviews, operations meetings, etc.)
- Serves as subject matter expert on operational performance to ensure processes, people and analytics are in place to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Participates in contract implementations and interfaces with the Integration team to support optimum staff performance.
- Manages Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) of partner practices and report results, identify performance trends and facilitate activities to improve performance in coordination with partner practice’s leadership.
- Ability to have crucial conversations involving the proper stakeholders with tact and decorum.
- Ability to manage through ambiguity and ever-changing timelines and business assumptions.
- Organizes and manages the work and resources of his / her business unit to optimize productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
