- Plans, implements and monitors participant activities and job placement to ensure delivery and completion of satisfactory services; acts as liaison with participants, family members, guardians. Maintains good rapport with employers to ensure continued sources of business; engages in outreach/networking opportunities to promote the benefits of hiring individuals with barriers to employment.
- Develops, implements, monitors and evaluates vocational training services; monitors training and work with participants emphasizing career exploration, community integration, work and social skills development while navigating the Path to Employment; evaluates settings to ensure safe environment; ensures staff are providing services to participants in accordance with Person Centered Plans and in compliance with Department of Labor requirements; evaluates employee performance; provides employee training.
- Supervises assigned employees; screens, interviews and recommends applicants for hire; recommends assignments, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, grievance resolutions and other personnel actions; Uses applications to maintain records and prepare reports that are compliant with Medicaid billing, FCBDD and other requirements; develops, prepares and reviews records and reports including participant documentation/data and correspondence as required; ensures standards are applied regarding maintenance of schedules and quality control; determines need and requests necessary equipment, supplies and materials; participates in Person Centered Plan meetings as needed.
- Ensures compliance with CMS, DODD and CARF rules and standards, other applicable laws, rules and regulations and maintains an environment free of health and safety hazards; participates on special committees and projects; provides information and assistance to families, businesses and other organizations.
