If you are 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED hold a valid driver's license and motivated to work while having a great time assisting others, The Arc of Iroquois County is the place for you. You will learn everything you need to know through the training program, which includes both on-line and on-the-job training. And guess what?? You are paid while going through training.
Starting wage is $17.75 with a $.25 increase after you have completed medication administration training. You are then eligible for an increase up to 5% after your 1st year of service. When working 2nd shift, you receive a $.50 shift differential. When working the weekends which starts at 3p on Friday and runs through Monday at 6am, you will receive an additional $1 per hour. Positions available are Part-time and are for 2nd shifts. You are required to work every other weekend.
