Summary
Supports financial and accounting decision-making information by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data. This position reports to the Finance Manager. Work is performed with limited direction and supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Aids Senior Department Staff in producing monthly, quarterly, and year-end P & L Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow for the company’s management team, audit committee, and board of directors and responds to questions regarding same.
- Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and weekly forecasts
- Providing financial models and forecasting
- Support stores and staff in preparing annual budget
- Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data
- Maintain information in Lease Query and prepare and post all lease accounting journal entries
- Generates & post month-end journal entries
- Reconciles selected balance sheet accounts; i.e., Property Tax , employee benefits.
- Assist with the company year-end financial audit.
- Performs other duties and special assignments as directed, including assignments that may be outside the primary area of employment.

Education and/or Experience Required
- At a minimum, expected to hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance A master’s degree or CPA would be helpful,
- Great presentation skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
- Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business documents such as financial reports, legal documents, governmental regulations, technical procedures and procedure manuals.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
- Experience working with a diverse workforce.
- Ability to work with individuals possessing developmental disabilities.
- Good analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment in analysis and presentation of financial data.

Salary : $65,000 - $73,500
