As a Quality Control Manager at Arcadia Beverage, you'll perform the critical role of ensuring that our manufacturing process produces high-quality products that meet customer expectations and comply with regulatory standards. You will also be in a leadership role, in which you will manage the quality department as a whole and make sure that things are running smoothly. This role is important in maintaining safety regarding our products, as well as consistency. Some of the main responsibilities involve the overseeing of quality functions, the testing of both raw materials and finished products, data analysis, and conducting quality inspections.

What You’ll Do

  • Be responsible for the plant wide food quality and food safety programs.
  • Oversee daily training, direction, and development of QC Technicians, ensuring compliance with quality policies and safety programs or Oversight of Quality Food Safety program supported by an SQF Practitioner/ QA Supervisor and technicians
  • Assume responsibilities of SQF Practitioner in their absence.
  • Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with production management team to maximize reliability and mitigate costs.
  • Oversees inspection activities for production throughout production cycle.
  • Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Investigate, develop, and implement root cause analyses for quality and food safety issues

  • Self-starter with strong prioritization and finishing skills; comfort in change as a state of being.
  • Bachelor’s degree in food sciences, chemistry, Microbiology, engineering, manufacturing or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years quality control experience in a food and/or beverage processing environment.
  • HACCP and PCQI Certification required.
  • SQF certification required.
  • Better Process Control School certification required
  • Experience with GMP associated with the production of food and beverage industry.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize while maintaining high levels of organization productivity and versatility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work expectations in fast paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a factory environment with exposure to various temperatures and noise levels.
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
