Role description :
Arcadis is seeking a Cost Controller with pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry experience. The candidate will support the project team by providing cost control for the construction costs associated with the project. He / She will provide financial analysis and support to project management teams, ensuring alignment with Capital and Operational budgetary goals and financial planning.
Role accountabilities :
- Support the project team by providing cost control for the construction costs associated with the project.
- Provide financial analysis and support to project management teams, ensuring alignment with Capital and Operational budgetary goals and financial planning.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
- Track and report on project financial performance for all hard and soft costs, including expenditures, commitments, and variances from the budget.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial documents, such as cost estimates, purchase orders, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare financial reports, including project progress, cash flow, and cost analysis, for presentation to senior management and stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
- Collaborate with procurement and accounts payable teams to ensure timely processing of payments and tracking of financial commitments.
- Assist in identifying financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project costs remain within budget.
- Participate in financial planning meetings with project teams, providing insights on cost management and financial forecasting.
- Other duties as assigned
