Role Description:
Arcadis is seeking a Facilities Project Engineer with pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience.
The ideal candidate will prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation to support project design and execution.
They will coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for project and operations initiatives.
The successful candidate will oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation to support project design and execution.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for project and operations initiatives.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Perform site inspections and audits to monitor project progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
- Support the commissioning and startup of new facilities or systems, ensuring operational readiness upon project completion.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs for facility systems and equipment.
- Document and maintain project records, including design changes, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Provide technical support and guidance to facility operations and maintenance teams, addressing engineering-related issues.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project outcomes and recommending enhancements to processes and procedures.
- Assist Facilities PM with vendor coordination for site operations maintenance and repairs.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 7 years in facilities project engineering in a pharma/biotech company
- B.S. in engineering
- Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required
