Position Summary: Works as an essential part of a dynamic and creative organization that directly impacts communities throughout Rhode Island. Provides direct support and project management to the Help Division, through directly reporting to the COO. Assists the COO in the Help Division's required goals, objectives, deliverables, and financial targets of new and ongoing initiatives. Work areas within the Division include IT, Quality Management, HR, Facilities/Operations, licensing, accreditation, and overall organizational operations. Works as a key member of the Help Division, serving all of FSRI's divisions to meet the best possible outcomes for those FSRI serves.
SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides project management for short and long-term projects that support the organization's mission and vision, in a variety of domains, as assigned by the COO.
- Assists the COO in completing essential organizational tasks o fa varied nature to ensure that FSRI meets its internal and external goals and obligations. These tasks may includetracking funding, operational tasks, grants, and others as needed.
- Assists the COO with purchasing, contracting, reporting, quality improvement, and overall operations.
- Provides reports, data, and formulates systemsto assist FSRI as needed
- Supports the Help Division by serving in a key role as an accessible, helpful, and flexible teammate
- Establishes dashboards to support quality work
- Assists with data tracking, compiling and reporting for FSRI and funders
- Completes quarterly and annual reports as needed
- Develops and supports the implementation ofthe Division's quality improvement plan in accordance with the mission and strategic goals of the organization, federal and state laws and regulations, and accreditation standards (COA).
- Assists in the training of organizational staff in a variety of subjects essential to the success of FSRI
- Build and maintain positive, working relationships with funders, community organizations and managed care companies and is a liaison in relation to Help Division needs.
- Completes required documentation in a timely manner.
- Attends internal and external meetings, representing FSRI and the COO at times.
- Performs additional responsibilities consistent with Agency needs, defined in consultation with supervisor(s) and other duties as assigned.
- Assists facilities director with project management around facilities projects & improvements.
- Is responsible for project management of grant funded capital projects.
Qualifications:
- A variety of backgrounds and education may be appropriate for this role. Individuals may have a background in public health, social services, direct care, or other related and unrelated fields. There are no minimum educational requirements, however strong analytical and communication skills are a must.
- Highly advanced critical thinking skills, creativity, flexibility in meeting changing priorities and demands; ability to think in broad and detailed terms; keen attention to detail; comfortable with identifying and resolving obstacles to improvement/goals.
- Demonstrated experience building alliances and relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex objectives and projects in effective and easily understood terms
- Willing to work hard, learn, be humble, and demonstrate passion to help others
- Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, and overall computer proficiency.
- Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
- Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Employees in this position must have the ability to:
- Travel to and from community locations and office sites, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.
- Lift up to 201bs.
- Communicate effectively.
