Purpose:
We are looking for an accountant with experience working in a manufacturing environment and with ERP systems. This position will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Codes invoices
- Sets up new accounts
- Creates customer invoices
- Manages accounts receivable collections
- Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Manages customer and vendor relationships
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
- Maintains the general ledger.
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting
- Monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.
- Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Collaborate with Controller on decisions related to the company’s finances.
- Collaborate with the Controller on bank management.
- Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables
- Experience working with ERP systems and in a manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Note: This position can by hybrid with manager approval after the 90 day training period.
