Currently, we are looking for an Environmental Compliance Coordinator II - Permit Reporting to join the ArcBest team. As an integral member of the Real Estate Compliance team, the Environmental Compliance Coordinator II - Permit Reporting assists in maintaining environmental compliance regulations and improvements at all corporate facilities. This position participates in continual enhancement of established programs and consistent implementation of new programs within a team environment.
Your contribution may include :
- Analyze environmental compliance reports to confirm they are complete and accurate per regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for recognizing, following-up, and tracking any corrective actions necessary.
- Review and maintain environmental compliance reports in the Compliance System.
- Communicate and enforce strict compliance on late reports with Service Center Managers.
- Responsible for ordering analytical sampling bottes in a timely manner for Service Centers and verify receipt of supplies.
- Coordinate with Service Centers to obtain pricing proposals to ensure environmental compliance based on permit requirements (such as signs, sweeping, etc.).
- Assist in maintaining processes to ensure compliance to federal, state, local, and internal standards.
- Monitor changes and updates to environmental program and implement accordingly.
- Maintain relationships and communication with all Service Centers, outside 3rd party environmental companies, and internal personnel.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
As an Environmental Compliance Coordinator II - Permit Reporting, you will be a member of the ArcBest Real Estate team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

Education : Bachelors degree, preferred.
Experience : Minimum, one year's experience and extensive knowledge of ArcBest and ABF Service Centers Operations, preferred.
Computer Skills : Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Must have aptitude to apply basic computer skills for the operation of compliance databases.
