We are recruiting an experienced GovCon Business Developer / Account Executive / Capture Manager (via telework) to join our team. We seek a dynamic Account Executive / Capture Manager with a proven track record in driving successful capture and proposal management for complex federal projects. This role demands at least 10 years of combined experience in strategic capture, proposal development, and solutions development, specifically within federal agencies. The ideal candidate will have deep customer relationships and a history of managing bids exceeding $50 million. Success in this position will be measured by key performance indicators such as the number of contracts won, revenue growth from captured opportunities, and overall contribution to the organization's strategic goals. POSITION DUTIES. Primary job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on "Driving to Win" by melding business, management, technical, and cost elements to position for the most complex pursuits and offer strategies for winning proposals and delivering the work.
- Efforts include driving capture and proposal readiness from early positioning and shaping efforts to developing and implementing win strategies through prep for Request for Proposal activities and continuing through written / oral proposal development, negotiations, award, and transition.
- Proven track record of successful capture and proposal management on $50M bids and orchestrating multi-disciplined resourcing against pipeline priorities.
- Drives the pursuit lifecycle as a leader, delivering seamless, timely, high-quality capture expertise and guidance to Account and Offering leaders across multiple offering areas and procurement/contracting environments.
- Effectively builds relationships across a matrixed organization to execute the capture strategy; builds trust and achieves consensus across teams as a capture manager developing and leading multiple capture efforts that have won major contracts.
- Experience with capture for complex solutions such as Application Management Services, Cyber Security Operations, Business Process Outsourcing, IT Outsourcing, Cloud and/or Data Center Ops, Organizational Transformation, or other disciplines that support Federal missions.
- Ability to travel based; this may include but not be limited to client site visits and relevant conferences.
- Coach and mentor pursuit team members.
- Ability to read situations and adapt leadership style to achieve results.
- Ability to analyze information and make sound observations and recommendations quickly.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE. Applicants MUST have this experience:
- Minimum 10 years combined experience with the following: strategic capture, capture leadership, opportunity shaping, proposal development, solutions development, costing pricing, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of support with Federal Civilian financial agencies.
- Ideally experience with Department of Commerce, IRS, and or HHS
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree required, but may be substituted for substantial past work experience
WORK AUTHORIZATION:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
