Job Summary
The Assistant Vice President of Arch National Accounts Casualty (NAC) is responsible for the technical underwriting and account management of loss sensitive casualty programs; this includes working with retail brokers to attract and retain these accounts.
Job Responsibilities
- Underwrite, maintain, and grow a profitable book of primary and excess casualty insurance business
- Evaluate and prioritize submissions, analyze exposures and coverage requests
- Determine pricing and negotiate our program offering, manage all post bind activities
- Negotiate and place facultative reinsurance
- Manage portfolio metrics
- Develop and maintain relationships with retail brokers
- Drive pipeline with assigned brokers
- Create strategy on target accounts
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing insureds through frequent engagement and annual stewardship
- Prepare and deliver presentations virtually and in person (when possible)
- Collaborate with internal team members to deliver excellent service to brokers and clients
