Position Summary
Seeking an experienced licensing analyst to join in-house legal team. Ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience working in the insurance producer licensing arena.
Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Assist with producer and adjuster business entity license applications filings for new and renewed licenses.
- Assist with individual producer license application filings for new and renewed licenses.
- Assist with Secretary of State filings for corporations and LLCs.
- Assist with insurance company license application filings by preparing forms and gathering supporting documentation.
- Perform legal research of statutes and regulations.
- Perform annual gap analysis of business entity and individual producer licenses.
- Maintain databases of information relative to producer, adjuster and company licenses.
- Assist in updating corporate document repository.
- Assist in processing invoices related to licenses.
- Hands on experience working on regulatory licensing matters.
- Experience working with Excel
- Notary public (or willing to obtain)
- Prior experience working with NIPR; Sircon; SBS and Westlaw a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a legal department, preferably a property casualty insurance company.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
$75,800 - $95,880/year
- Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
