AWS Cloud Solutions Architect

Role: Senior Cloud Architect

Location: 100% remote

Key responsibilities may include:

• Defining the overall cloud adoption roadmap, including technology selection, cost optimization, and migration plans.
• Architecting complex cloud-based solutions for applications, considering scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Implementing and managing cloud infrastructure using IaC tools for automation and consistency.
• Leading the migration process of existing applications to the cloud, including assessment, design, and execution.
• Designing and implementing robust cloud security measures to protect data and systems.
• Monitoring and managing cloud spending to ensure cost-effective utilization of cloud resources.
• Implementing monitoring and logging systems to identify and address potential performance issues.
• Mentoring and guiding junior cloud engineers on best practices and cloud technologies.
• Evaluating and managing relationships with cloud service providers.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts (virtualization, containers, serverless architecture)
• Proficiency in infrastructure design and network architecture
• Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with security best practices and compliance regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solution Architect

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
