Job Description:
Arch Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our internal users. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of IT systems. The position is primarily remote, with 2 days onsite support required per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows, macOS, and Linux system issues.
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and access controls in Active Directory.
- Support Office 365, VPN, remote desktop, and cloud-based applications.
- Assist with setup and maintenance of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Document issues and resolutions in the IT ticketing system.
- Work closely with IT teams to escalate complex issues when needed.
- Ensure security compliance and assist in software updates and patching.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1-3 years of IT support/helpdesk experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and basic networking.
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, VPN, and remote support tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and onsite as needed.
- IT certifications (CompTIA A , Microsoft, etc.) are a plus.
