What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer position at ARCH?
Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Update incoming and existing models and drawings to proper engineering standard prints.
- Understand the manufacturing process and create drawings to support manufacturing operations.
- work with cross functional team members to solve issues or improve processes.
- Interface with shop floor team members, supervisors, engineers, quality inspectors, and other team members to document engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Answer technical questions
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong interest in manufacturing
- SolidWorks with some knowledge of Dimensioning
- Ability to interpret drawings to include GD&T.
- AutoCAD experience.
Education and/or Experience
- At a MINIMUM - Pursuing a professional education from an accredited college or University in the field of engineering. 2 years' work experience working with 2D and 3D dimensional drawings.
