Responsibilities
The ADON partners with the DON to direct nursing activities throughout the skilled nursing facility.
- Assumes the responsibilities of the Direct of Nursing in their absence and assists the Director in the administration, continuity and supervision of nursing care, and guidance of the activities within the nursing department.
- Assists in maintaining a physical, spiritual, social, psychological, and safe environment conducive to the best interests and welfare of the staff and residents.
- Ensures a high level of care is provided to all residents.
- Performs rounds on staff and residents.
- Maintains nursing skills and knowledge of nursing theory.
Job Type: Full Time, Day
Qualifications
- 5 years nursing experience
- 2 years’ experience in nursing administration
- NYS RN License
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Salary
$56.34-$76.92 per hour
