What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher, Science, Middle School (EX) - Cardinal Shehan School, Baltimore MD position at Archdiocese of Baltimore?
The Middle School Science Teacher will provide the students a comprehensive academic experience using the Archdiocesan and State of Maryland Science curriculum for grades 6-8. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position.
Essential Functions
- Maintains high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teaching of the Catholic Church.
- Plans and implements instructional programs with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of MD Standards.
- Creates and instructional environment conducive to learning.
- Maintains accurate and complete records of student's progress and development in a timely manner.
- Communicated standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic grade book.
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom.
Position Qualifications
Range : $43,700 - 60,200, Annualized
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and / or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
