The Archdiocese of Denver seeks a dynamic and detail-oriented Treasury Manager to oversee the financial health and strategic growth of its resources. This role is integral to managing cash flow, banking, and investments, while ensuring alignment with Church teachings. The Treasury Manager will work closely with diocesan leadership and parishes to provide critical financial analysis, drive efficient capital management, and support the mission of the Church.

Key Responsibilities
- Cash and Treasury Management: Oversee cash management functions, including concentration, funding, and wire/ACH processing; maximize returns on excess cash and investments within risk and policy guidelines; manage inter-company cash and lending; implement new technologies and services to streamline operations.
- Treasury Operations: Manage cash forecasting, account setups, and banking services. Evaluate and recommend financial products, streamline processes, and implement policies. Support external audits, manage credit card services, and collaborate with ministries and parishes to enhance treasury efficiency and relationships.
- Investment & Debt Management: Assist in managing Archdiocesan investments, including acquisition, disposal, and portfolio rebalancing. Oversee defined contribution plan investments and support pension plan governance. Lead financing arrangements, ensuring capital structure efficiency, and manage covenant compliance and reporting.
- Financial Strategy & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning aligned with strategic goals. Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide insights to senior leadership. Develop financial models and scenarios to inform strategic decisions.
- Real Estate & Corporate Development: Analyze investment opportunities, including real estate, mergers, and acquisitions. Lead due diligence, valuation, and financial structuring, collaborating with teams and advisors to close successful transactions.
- Team Collaboration & Mission Support: Collaborate closely across Finance, Administration, and Planning to foster trust, expertise, and drive performance. Maintain focus on the AOD's vision, ensuring clear communication to achieve the mission, while pursuing continuous learning and growth.
What We’re Looking For
- A practicing Catholic eager to carry out the mission of the Archdiocese to rescue all people in Jesus Christ for the glory of the Father.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s or MBA desirable)
- 7 years of overall experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or FP&A, with progressively increasing responsibility
- Proven track record of leading financial transactions and treasury/financial operations
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CTP are a plus
- Mission focus – ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all employees, management, and external third parties to achieve the mission of the church
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly self-motivated with ability to manage assignments with excellence and meet deadlines
- Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to professionally handle confidential information in all forms
