Key Responsibilities
- Build strong, trusting, relationships to partner in mission with each parish, specifically the director and key staff at each entity
- Regular communication with the entity leadership, including status updates regarding ongoing service work and delivery of projects/recommendations
- Resolve conflicts, challenges, and obstacles that arise during the normal course of business
- Collaboration with Program Manager, MSC, to track project performance and service delivery metrics
- Ensuring and measuring excellence and response and service execution
- Facilitate strong inter-team, team to entity, and team to curia communication and collaboration
- Responsible for day-to-day leadership and management of a cross-functional team with the following workstreams in the following specialty functions: Accounting, Finance, HR, Payroll, IT, Marketing/Communications, Mission Advancement, Facitilites/Maintenance
- Build team members up in their specific responsibilities and in their overall knowledge of operations in the Catholic Church to support ministries, parishes, and schools
- Build and maintain a strong team dynamic guided by a strong vision aligned with the mission and strategic plan of the Archdiocese and working to capitalize on team members strengths for the overall strength of the entities served
- Attend meetings, webinars, and conferences to stay updated on tools, best practice for school enrollment marketing, and thought leadership and practice for managing the Church in an apostolic age. Regular professional development reading for mission alignment and best practice from a business perspective and monthly Marketing professional development meetings.
What We’re Looking For
- Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the church and eager to carry out the mission of the Archdiocese to rescue all people in Jesus Christ for the glory of the Father
- Align with the values and mission of the Catholic Church in an Apostolic Age
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or similar field required
- A minimum of 10 years experience in leadership, client-relationship management, in a non-profit setting a plus
- A team player with the ability to build trust, collaborate effectively, influence others in win-win manner, all while fostering strong relationships with colleagues throughout the Archdiocese, especially principals and priests
- A combination of strategic thinking, collaborative ability to create something new, along with a “roll-up your sleeves tenacity to implement well crafted plans
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, problems and opportunities, and make decisions and implement solutions
