What are the responsibilities and job description for the Latchkey Caregiver position at Archdiocese of Detroit?
St. Augustine Catholic School is seeking a part time latchkey caregiver for the 2025-2026 school year. We seek dynamic and energetic candidates passionately committed to Catholic education. This position involves supervising and engaging with young children ages 3-13 and hours will be in the afternoon between 2:45 and 4:30 pm.

Candidates Should Possess The Following
- High school diploma or general education degree; must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must obtain and keep current training certifications in first aid, CPR, communicable diseases, child abuse recognition & prevention required by the State of Michigan.
- Must have Criminal Background Check and Fingerprints completed
- Ability to relate effectively to children of all ages (preschool-8th grade).
- Proven track record of developing authentic relationships with others.
- Ability to problem solve in challenging situations.

- Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Create, manage and participate in a variety of activities that provide opportunities for students to develop to their fullest potential and maintain learning.
