3rd Grade Teacher
St. Augustine Catholic School is seeking a full-time 3rd grade teacher for the 2025-2026
school year. This position involves teaching the Archdiocese of Detroit curriculum in all
subjects in a third grade self-contained classroom.
A teacher at St. Augustine Catholic School embodies the principles of the school’s
philosophy and supports the mission and vision of the school by promoting the Catholic
faith and the teachings of the Church and witnesses this faith through personal
example. We seek dynamic and energetic candidates passionately committed to
Catholic education.
Candidates should possess the following:
- Proper Michigan teaching certification and/or equivalent
- Willingness to obtain catechist certification through the Archdiocese of Detroit
- Specialized training in teaching reading and phonics are preferred
