Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Head Coach for our Boys' Lacrosse Team. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who is committed to developing a competitive and successful lacrosse program while emphasizing the values of faith, integrity, and sportsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching strategy for the boys' lacrosse team.
- Foster a positive and encouraging environment that emphasizes Catholic values and faith development.
- Mentor and guide student-athletes to achieve their full potential both on and off the field.
- Organize and conduct practices, game strategies, and conditioning programs.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and respect among players.
- Collaborate with school administration, faculty, and parents to support the overall mission of Orchard Lake St. Mary’s.
- Ensure compliance with all school, league, and state athletic regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in coaching lacrosse at the high school or collegiate level.
- Strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Orchard Lake St. Mary’s.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes.
- Knowledge of lacrosse rules, techniques, and strategies.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant coaching certifications are a plus.
