Job Summary & Essential Functions:Under direct supervision of the Director of Facilities, performs routine tasks in the maintenance of the Bishop Alemany High School campus. Supports Bishop Alemany events and functions, both on weekdays and weekends. This position will cover a daily shift from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.Primary Responsibilities:1.Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweeps, mops and vacuums floors. Dusts and cleans furniture and disinfects and sanitizes surfaces. Cleans classrooms, restrooms and applicable areas and restocks supplies like soap and paper towels.2.Trash Disposal: Empties trash receptacles and manages recycling 3.Set-up/Break-down: Sets up and breaks down furniture and equipment for events as needed. 4.Maintenance Support: Provides maintenance support to Director of Facilities5.Reporting: Observes, notes and communicates interior and exterior facility issues for repair.
