Director of Religious Education
St. Jerome Parish in Kenner, LA is looking for a full or part time Director of Religious Education, starting in June or July of 2025.
Applicants should speak English and Spanish and have a college degree in Catholic theology, Catholic religious education, or education, or a related field. They should also have substantial training and/or experience in Catholic catechetics or Catholic youth ministry leadership. They should be excellent leaders as well as being flexible and well organized.
Full time (40 hours)
Salary range $33,000 - $45,000 depending on education, training, and experience.
Part time salary depends on hours per week.
Responsibilities, depending on hours worked, include overseeing religious education for grades 1-12 and organizing First Communion and Confirmation celebrations, and OCIA for children and teens.
