Bilingual Before / After School Worker-Part Time
Catholic Social Services (CSS) in partnership with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has an opening in a program that provides foster care, treatment and educational services to assist unaccompanied children entering the United States. The successful candidate will be able to work between the hours of 7 : 00 AM to 9 : 00 AM and 3 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday. This position is eligible for benefits which include vacation, sick time, holidays and medical. The salary range is $13.00 to $15.50 per hour.
Essential Functions :
- Provide supervision for up to 12 children (ages 5-17) who attend agency-sponsored school.
- Assist children with assignments such as reading, writing, and math (individual math and reading / writing from 3 to 4pm).
- Engage children in other appropriate activities.
- Assure that children are only released to properly identified individuals.
- Complete ongoing, required training.
