What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founding Engineer position at ArchiLabs?
ArchiLabs (Y Combinator class of F24) is on a mission to create the first AI Architect. By creating an AI Architect, we can make all new construction faster & more affordable for all.
We are looking for a founding engineer who is passionate about making a difference in the world through software and who is excited about the trajectory of AI models. No specific background in construction or architecture is required, as we are hiring for ability to learn and adapt.
You will be working across our full stack, which includes CAD integrations, frontend React app, Node.js backend, AI agent powered by LangGraph, and more frameworks as we add them.
Founders William & Brian previously went to Carnegie Mellon together, worked at Meta, built homes from scratch, built a tech-enabled homebuilding factory, and scaled an AI transcription startup. They have experienced first-hand the pains of construction and are on a mission to solve those pains for the entire industry.
