Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hardware Specialist to join our team. This position involves picking orders based on a set schedule, issuing materials for work orders, and ensuring accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick hardware and materials for orders based on scheduled requirements.
Issue materials for work orders per production needs and schedules.
Maintain accurate inventory records of materials and equipment.
Ensure all items are correctly identified, labeled, and delivered to the appropriate departments.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth flow of materials to support production needs.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
Inspect materials for quality and report any defects or issues.
Keep work area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
Assist with receiving and storing incoming materials.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
Basic knowledge of hardware materials and tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in basic computer applications, including inventory management systems.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory, or hardware-related role is preferred.
