What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate position at Architectural Mailboxes?
Architectural Mailboxes is the nations leading supplier of single unit curbside mailboxes and a proud member of Gibraltar Industries, Inc. We specialize in manufacturing single unit, curbside mailboxes at our facility in Taylorsville, Mississippi. We have a dedicated team with an average tenure of 15 years of service making this a very knowledgeable and successful organization to be a part of. We are now hiring Production Associates to work on assembly lines that build mailboxes.
What you’ll do:
- Operate hand tools to put together mailbox parts
- Keep pace with other employees on the assembly line
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Learn and maintain general knowledge of production processes
- Willingness to cross train and work any area of production
- Complete all work according to quality specifications
- Identify and report any quality issues
- Meet daily, time-related production goals
Requirements
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must been on time and present for scheduled shifts
- Ability to follow direction and be on your feet for a 10 hour shift
- Must be able and willing to push, pull and lift 50 pounds
- All employees must undergo a background check and drug screen if offered a position
