- Da Vinci Marble is searching for a full-time, in house, high-energy Stone & Tile Design Sales Person who can showcase our passion for high-end residential design to engage with architects, designers, and contractors in our showroom in San Carlos.ResponsibilitiesMeet with Da Vinci’s interior design, architect, contractor clients along with homeowners on stone and tile aspects of residential (and occasionally hospitality) projects in showroomRequired to service daily walk-in clientele on a set floor rotationAssess budget, timing, and project scope to recommend materials that meet any constraints and are appropriate for desired applications such as flooring, steam showers, pools, etc.Conduct daily follow-up to clients with quotes and invoices with appropriate trade discountsManage multiple projects simultaneously while striving for timely follow upLeverage CRM to manage client relationships, interactions, and opportunities to demonstrate an accurate pipelinePresent monthly projected sales in pipeline meetingsWork closely with Business Development to manage projects and large opportunitiesAbility to problem solve and make independent decisions in line with the company’s policies and proceduresCreative thinking skills resulting in design inspiration supporting product salesEngage in strategic outreach to develop and grow client baseProactively reach out to clients when new products arrive and check in with clients who haven’t visited to promote loyaltyAttend regular on-site product training sessions with our many artisan tile lines to continuously stay abreast of our offerings and design trendsDevelop detailed knowledge of all product lines and featuresNetwork with the professional trade through involvement in events, associations, meetings; including external eventsProvide excellent customer service to deliver a seamless customer experience and achieve strong resultsMaintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure and work well with colleaguesPosition will be measured through achievement of $1.0-$1.2 million and above in net sales and net sales goalsPosition is highly collaborative and team oriented; ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needsQualificationsCollege degree with emphasis in design or certificate in residential design preferred3 years in sales; luxury retail sales experience a plusStone and tile product knowledgeFamiliarity with kitchen and bath designAbility to interpret basic architectural drawings and understand construction processProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsPrevious knowledge of CRM platform preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lift and maneuver up to 30 poundsPay range and compensation package
