What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant / Permit Expediter position at Architecture and Engineering?
Busy architectural and engineering firm located in Holiday, FL is seeking an upbeat, experienced Administrative Assistant. This role is to be filled as soon as possible.
The primary responsibilities of the position are:
· Assist Project Managers in permitting process both electronically and paper copies.
· Assist with Contract Administration; pay applications, shop drawing submittals, request for information, etc.
· Answer incoming phone calls. Take messages and/or redirect phone calls as necessary.
· Print, forward and make copies of incoming emails for distribution to project managers.
· Daily communication and correspondence.
· Maintain paper and electronic files and records with effective filing systems.
· Support all employees with various administrative tasks (emails, phone calls, multiple forms of correspondence, etc.)
Requirements:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
· Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC.
· Permitting Experience is a plus.
· Organized with the ability to multi-task.
· Team Player.
· Reliable and dependable.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Professional appearance.
· Accounting experience is a plus.
· Photoshop knowledge is a plus.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
