What are the responsibilities and job description for the AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN Job at Archives in Oregon position at Archives?
This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the normal operation and maintenance of audio-visual equipment and for assisting with developing audio-visual programs in conjunction with museum exhibitions and other Library activities.
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience for the GS-7 is one year of experience at the GS-6 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position, and has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position must include :
- Experience with audiovisual equipment, such as taking photographs, troubleshooting, recording events and setting up auditorium for event rentals and / or meeting rooms : AND
- Experience working with various audiences, including outside vendors and media.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement , if applicable (as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F) :
For the GS-07, you must have been at the GS-06level for 52 weeks.
