Overview
We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance tasks, including but not limited to facilities maintenance, residential painting, and basic welding. Strong leadership and customer service skills are also crucial for this position as you will be supervising maintenance activities and interacting with clients.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on various systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or installations.
- Conduct residential painting projects, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair logic controllers and other electronic systems within the facility.
- Use an ohmmeter and other tools to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and inquiries.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
- Familiarity with CMMS software is preferred.
- Knowledge of logic controllers and basic electrical systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to fabricate and weld metal components as required.
- Experience in residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in using tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
