Description
- Work towards advancing the mission and values of Archway Programs.
- Ensure that all necessary program resources are used to meet the needs of the individuals.
- Promote and demonstrate ethical and professional conduct at all times.
- Maintains established division and department policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Guards the confidentiality of client information from both outside persons and Archway Programs employees whom do not require this information to perform their job functions
- Provides culturally sensitive services that are based on knowledge of cultural diversity to accomplish quality client care.
- Customer Service: Respect, flexibility, knowledge, confidence, professionalism, pleasant attitude, patience, and helpfulness. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Archway Programs standards.
- Cooperates fully with Archway Programs, Department of Human Services, and Division of Developmental Disabilities, DCF & DCP&P staff in any and all inspections, investigations, audits, etc.
- Supervises and monitors Group Home, Supportive Living, Respite and PE staff as assigned. Serves as chief liaison with staff, consumers, other agencies and community in general
- Keeps close watch over the care and safety of all consumers, advises and takes action when necessary without infringing on consumer rights
- Conducts intake interviews and updates as needed for each consumer, no less than annually
- Actively promotes consumer independence and choice
- Serves as key liaison to parents and other human services agencies
- Conducts staff meetings as appropriate, monitors and responds to emails
- Is on-call as needed for Group Homes, SL Manager and Respite/PE staff
- Provides daily supervision and administration to managers/supervisors/staff of Group Homes/Supportive Living, respite & PE.
- Continually monitors and implements comprehensive quality improvement for programs assigned.
- Selects/evaluates and terminates management/supervisory and some line staff
- Works with inter-agency departments, supervisory staff and outside contractors to maintain physical plants and furnishings in good working condition
- Assists in developing, updating, monitoring, implementing and evaluating ISP.

- Participate in quality improvement projects.
- Promote and participate in Archway Programs Risk Management and Performance Improvement goals addressing the health and safety of clients and employees.
- Promote inclusion for individuals through meaningful and high quality community activities.
- Cooperates fully with Archway Programs, the Division of Developmental Disabilities, Department of Human Services and Department of Children and Families staff in any and all licensing, inspections and/ or investigations.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and within given timelines.
- Comply with Archway Programs’ policies and DDD licensing standards. Maintain established division and program specific policies & procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards
- Perform other such duties as may be assigned for providing excellent customer service and for the most effective operation of the company.
Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, a driver’s license valid in their current state of residence and three (3) years of experience in a supervisory capacity. Experience working with individuals with intellectual/ developmental disabilities or the elderly required.
