Job Description
Job Title: Kids Club Attendant
Department: Athletics
Reports to: Athletic Director
FLSA Status: Non Exempt (hourly)

SUMMARY
Kids Club provides a supervised space designed to engage children in fun, educational and age-appropriate activities. Kids Club provides a safe environment where kids can socialize, learn and play while exploring creative projects, games, or team building exercises. Kids Club includes, dinner, arts and crafts, games and if the weather permits outside adventures.
Essential Functions:
- Supervision: Ensure the safety of children and maintain a secure environment
- Organization: Plan activities, such as arts and crafts, games, reading, and singing
- Maintenance: Keep equipment and facilities clean and well-maintained
- Sign-in and sign-out: Manage the sign-in and sign-out sheets
- Childcare: Provide childcare, including paging parents if needed
- Recognizes and resolves individual or group issues or problems.
- Set and take down of supplies and space.
- Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
- Performs special projects delegated by management.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Applicants must hold a current First Aid/CPR/AED card. Must be at least 18 years of age. Current required local and/or state professional certification and/or license; high school diploma or general education degree (GED); proven child care skills; and demonstrated outstanding customer service. Must possess willingness to learn and perform new child care programs and activities, excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This position is part-time requiring Friday Evening availability.
