Arcis Golf is seeking a talented and experienced Sales Manager to oversee Private Event and Wedding sales efforts for Palm Valley Golf Club is Goodyear, Arizona!
Responsible for executing the sales process from business development to nurturing leads and closing the sale to maximize club revenue through new business and customer acquisition.
Primary Responsibilities include the following :
- Responsible for the Sales, Coordination, and Execution of Private Events and Weddings at Palm Valley Golf Club
- Manage prospect database and pipeline including detailed notes and organization utilizing CRM system
- Schedule sales calls and business development activities to grow the pipeline with qualified leads and execute sales strategies through timely follow-up and activities that produce high closing rates
- Conduct tours of the club to qualified potential clients, coordinating with other departments to create customized experiences that increase sales
- Work closely with clients to fully understand their event vision, preferences, and requirements, including venue layout, catering, dcor, entertainment, and additional services.
- Create comprehensive event plans or BEOs that cover all logistical aspects, including timelines, vendor coordination, staffing needs, and technical requirements.
- Ensure every event detail is thoroughly documented and communicated with relevant teams to ensure flawless execution, from arrival times to post-event breakdown and everything in between.
- Establish a client base of organizations, associations, social and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts
- Responsible for the development and execution of prospecting and marketing plans for the private event product line for the club
- Represent the club at trade shows and other public forums
- Drive lead generation through cold-calling and outside business development
- Negotiate function space and food & beverage prices ensuring confirmation and requirements in writing are shared with the client and affected departments
- Accurately forecasts revenues and tracks bookings
- Other duties as assigned

It is a wonderful facility for beginners and for avid golfers alike - and is the best bang for your buck in the Phoenix area. Players have the option to play 3 different 18 hole combinations of the North, South and West courses.
