WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE) Lead role resides on site in our Alpharetta, GA headquarters. Reporting to the Supply Chain COE Manager, the ideal candidate will be a customer-focused process owner with experience in supply chain and operations, has strong analytical skills, proven cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, and a working knowledge of the order-to-cash business process.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Our Supply Chain COE supports the Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain departments by optimizing processes and systems. We are committed to improving efficiency, providing outstanding employee training, and ensuring our systems support the company’s goals. The Supply Chain COE Lead position requires a detail- and results-oriented individual who has a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for helping and teaching others.
This role serves as a critical point of contact for end users involved in the order-to-cash business process. From customer service to supply chain planning and production scheduling, the Supply Chain COE Lead is responsible for three key areas to support end users achieve business goals.
Process and Systems Support
- Maintain and support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) platform, Maestro
- Troubleshoot and problem solve user errors and system issues for Maestro and JD Edwards (JDE)
- Lead and support the Maestro power user community
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend streamlined solutions
- Support change management efforts
- Assist and lead process improvement projects – including software updates, user acceptance testing, and optimization efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company initiatives and recommend best practices
End User Training
- Document processes and create training materials to ensure consistent and correct system usage
- Design and deliver employee training programs (in-person and virtually) for process and systems improvements
- Create and update training Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job aids for all supply chain and related functional activities
- Collect and incorporate end user feedback on training programs and materials
- Conduct regular process audits to ensure end users are following all SOPs accurately; lead follow up training where necessary
KPI Reporting and Analysis
- Identify and define relevant KPIs which align with business goals
- Establish baseline targets to compare business performance
- Build and maintain reporting capabilities to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Compare performance against targets; investigate underperforming areas to determine a root-cause and recommend solutions
- Participate in regularly scheduled cross-functional meetings to measure progress and present findings
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU WILL NEED
- 3 years of experience in supply chain operations
- Working knowledge of systems vital to supply chain operations; top applicants will have specific experience supporting relational databases and planning software
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Management, or related fields
- Ability to master systems quickly; hands-on experience with JD Edwards and/or Kinaxis Maestro, preferred
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to influence teams
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changes
- Deep knowledge of planning tools and processes
- Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Proven track record in process improvement and change management
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus
