Cashier/Customer Service

As a gas station cashier, your duties typically include:

• Greeting and assisting customers: Welcome customers as they enter the gas station shop, assist them in finding products, answering any questions they may have, and providing excellent customer service.
• Maintaining inventory: Regularly check stock levels of products on store shelves, restock items as needed, and ensure that shelves are organized and products are properly displayed.
• Operating the cash register: Ring up customers' purchases accurately using the cash register, handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and provide customers with receipts.
• Cleaning duties: Keep the gas station shop and restrooms clean and well-maintained throughout your shift. This includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and restocking restroom supplies.
• Security: Monitor the premises for any suspicious activity and report any issues to management or security personnel as needed.
• Safety: Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself, coworkers, and customers. This includes handling and disposing of hazardous materials properly and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Customer service: Be attentive to customers' needs and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner. Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues to management if necessary.
• Cash management: Handle cash transactions accurately and securely, balancing the cash register at the end of your shift and following proper procedures for cash management.
