What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant position at Arco?
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner
- Conduct property tours and highlight the features and amenities of the property
- Respond to inquiries from potential tenants regarding leasing options, availability, and lease terms
- Process rental applications, including conducting background checks and verifying references
- Prepare leasing contracts and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
- Maintain organized files and records of leasing activities
- Enter data into the property management system Appfolio to track leasing activities
- Follow up with prospective tenants to answer any additional questions and encourage lease signings
- Upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants to maximize revenue
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with potential tenants
- Attention to detail for accurate data entry and contract preparation
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures to address tenant concerns or issues
- Proficient in phone etiquette for handling incoming calls and inquiries
- Strong administrative skills for organizing files, documents, and lease agreements
- Ability to negotiate lease terms and rental rates with potential tenants
Qualifications & Compensation:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- $15-$17/hour commission
- In-Office - Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
