Job Summary:
As a Design Solutions Engineer at Arconic, you will play a critical role in supporting customers, sales, and the front-end with engineering and design needs. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic structural analysis using commercial software such as MathCAD, C-Beam, PDA, Hilti Profis, and other in-house tools;
- Review, comment, and approve customer shop drawings;
- Prepare calculation packages that meet all specifications, specs, and codes for professional stamping by licensed engineers;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution (preferred);
- Minimum of 1 year experience in any of the following disciplines: Structural Analysis; Blast Application; AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Inventor, or Fenestration Industry (preferred);
- Proficient at reading and interpreting Architectural plans and Specifications;
