Arconic is currently in search of Financial Analyst to join our BCS Team in Springdale, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

The Financial Analyst needs to demonstrate the following capabilities:

• Analytical mindset
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (It is imperative for this position)
• Forecasting
• Financial Modeling
• Budget Preparation
• Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis
• Variance Reporting
• Capex
  
  

The Financial Analyst provides support in the following areas:

• Ad-hoc cost analysis
• Monitoring and improving accuracy of daily reporting
• Supporting month-end close
• Supporting monthly forecast process
• Day to day responsibilities include:
• Creating daily reports showing key performance indicators
• Reporting daily P&L
• Maintaining scrap database
• Creating scrap invoices
• Monitoring cost for significant variances
• Recording intercompany freight charges
• Maintaining capital expense database
• The position is also back-up for accounts payable and payroll
  
  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics is preferred
• 1-3 Years’ experience in similar role, but entry level with high ceiling considered
• Strong analytical and data gathering abilities
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
