Role Description/Summary
This position is responsible for analyzing raw data and making creative systems/models that provide context and clarity. This position is highly involved in providing projections associated with profits, flock sizes, market trends, expansion, and other company decisions.
Essential Job Functions
- Analyze data and trends in order to develop forecast models for Sr. Leaders to use in organizational decision making and business improvement plans.
- Assist CFO and Senior leadership in profit optimization and cost reduction strategies.
- Assist the CFO and Executive Vice President with customer rebids and ongoing profitability of current customers.
- Work directly with the CFO and Controller on various planning exercises, such as forecasting, budgets, profitability analysis, and reporting.
- Monitor organizational performance by comparing datasets with projections.
- Develop and maintain confidential, protected databases to monitor business performance, and provide managers with insights into risks and opportunities.
- Conduct Investigative analyses per request and direction of the CFO and Senior Leadership.
- Coordinate cost tracking for expansion and rebuild projects.
- Build and maintain profit and loss Dashboard.
- Build Pro Formas for new business opportunities at the direction of the CFO.
- Build and maintain the Opal projection dashboard.
- Build and maintain the Opal projection dashboard.

Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree, preferably in finance or related field.
- Previous experience in finance or data analysis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis processes.
- Demonstrated advanced experience and knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in mathematics and data analysis.
- Previous experience with DAX and Power BI.
- Previous experience working within an ERP system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance or related field.
- Exposure to SQL (Structured Query language).
- Experience in financial forecasting and trend analytics.
