Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success and implement best practices.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Serve as a company representative and oversee all phases of drywall and paint projects from start to finish.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring critical deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
2. Inventory Management:
- Partner with the office to request purchase order generation for every material ordered.
- Coordinate materials delivery with supplier.
- Move material within the project to minimize waste.
3. Quality Control:
- Maintain high-quality standards for all drywall installations and paint applications.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets industry regulations and company standards.
4. Team Leadership:
- Provide guidance and training to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Lead and motivate on-site teams, including drywall and paint personnel.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other team members.
- Provide regular project updates, address any concerns, and provide solutions.
5. Budget Management:
- Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proven experience as a drywall superintendent in multifamily construction.
- In-depth knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and finishes.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with Procore or other construction management software.
- The ability to travel to jobsites throughout the US is required.
- OSHA 10.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

- Weekends as needed
