This role ensures that all contracts are aligned with company standards, industry regulations, and customer requirements, minimizing risk and optimizing value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Drafting and Review: Prepare, review, and amend contracts related to materials procurement, equipment leasing, project subcontracting, and client agreements specific to wind tower manufacturing.
- Contract Negotiations: Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and clients to negotiate favorable terms and conditions that align with company goals and regulatory standards.
- Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments on contracts to identify potential legal and financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks, especially those related to warranties, delivery timelines, and compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all contracts comply with industry standards for wind energy production, including environmental and safety regulations, as well as local and international manufacturing standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, legal, and finance teams to support smooth contract execution and project workflows.
- Documentation and Record Management: Maintain accurate records of all contract documents, modifications, and renewals, ensuring proper documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track key contract milestones, deadlines, and renewal dates, and provide periodic reports to management on contract status and any compliance issues.
- Vendor and Subcontractor Relations: Manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet performance standards and deliver materials on time to support manufacturing timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the manufacturing or energy sectors.
- Familiarity with contract law and industry standards, specifically for wind tower manufacturing or renewable energy.
- Strong understanding of procurement, supplier management, and project-based contracting.
- Strong MS Office with concentration in Excel Skills.
Preferred Skills:
