ARCOSA Lightweight is searching for a Career Equipment Technician for our Mooresville, IN plant. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by directing the activities and staff within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards.
As a Career Equipment Technician, you will be part of a maintenance team that maintains the plant operations. Our Maintenance team members have the opportunity to learn and grow on the job. You’ll use blueprints, schematics, small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and determine causes of operating problems in areas including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

What You Will Do:
- Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment such as motors, conveyers, mechanical components or electrical wiring and electrical components for production equipment
- Read blueprints
- Troubleshoot basic 3 Phase/equipment up to 600v
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
- Prompt, regular and predictable attendance
- The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
- The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
- Remove logs from cooler
- On the job training
- Operating front end loader
- Operate bobcat
- Operate dump truck
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- The ability to read blueprints
