What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Process Operator 2nd Shift position at Arcosa Inc.?
Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Control Process Operator for our plant operation located in Fort Worth, TX. The Control Process Operator sets up and operates machines, and may use blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas.

Schedule: Mon- Fri 4:00 pm - 2:30 am with occasional MANDATORY overtime on Saturdays!

Operate any or all of the following machines:
20' Break Press, 26’ Break Press, 60' Break Press, Plasma Table and Kinetic (Drill Press)

What You’ll Do
Operate any or all of the following machines:
20' Break Press, 26’ Break Press, 60' Break Press, Plasma Table and Kinetic (Drill Press)
- Form and or cut materials into predesignated shapes and sizes
- Operate overhead cranes to move materials safely
- Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments
- Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- Other job duties as assigned
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge and experience with angle grinders and metal manufacturing/fabrication.
- Experience operating overhead cranes.
- Experience operating forklift.
- Basic understanding and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- The ability to maintain good attendance.
- The ability to maintain reliable and predictable good attendance.
- A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal.
