Arcosa Shoring Products is searching for a Business System Analyst based at our headquarters in Union City, Michigan. In this role, you will support internal computer systems at multiple locations in Michigan and Houston, TX. In this role, you would be responsible for local IT support, troubleshooting, and compiling data from multiple sources.
Arcosa Shoring Products makes trench shoring equipment for the construction industry. Our dedicated team builds high-quality trench shields and shoring products that are made to last.
What you'll do:
- Importing and exporting AR/GL/AP/Cash Receipts/Customers/Vendors from Navision and Oracle
- Run Daily Sales Report
- Hardware\Computer support
- Software (Windows, Office, Acrobat, Autocad, Navision, Shopvue, Weldoffice, Citrix) support
- Cell phone support
- Computer and Network installation
- Purchasing computer, network, and phone supplies
- Desk phone support
- Printer\Copier\Scanner\Stencil Machine support
- Manage and oversee document retention
- Decommission\recycle old IT equipment
- Work with Corporate IT on projects including upgrading routers, switches, and servers
- Monthly Internal Audits
- Periodically help in the Accounting Dept as needed
- Inventory Control and Data Entry
- Answer Main Phone Line Incoming Calls
- Backup and recovery of files
- Remote/Onsite IT Support
- Network cabling and terminating
Required Knowledge and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
- Strong understanding of LAN configurations and computer management principles.
- Experience in software troubleshooting across various applications.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of VPN technologies and desktop support best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Relevant certifications in IT support or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.
