What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Exploratory Opportunity position at ARCTARIS SADDLEBACK SKI OPERATIONS LLC?
This role is for high school students enrolled or home-schooled in the Rangeley area.
Basic Function and Overview:
In this program, students gain practical experience in various jobs for Saddleback Ski Operations. Students will complete a survey to best assess what areas align with their interests. They may or may not receive grades and school credit for work and related instructional assignments.
Essential duties will be the same as entry-level duties within each department.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Good communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Can-do attitude.
- An interest in learning and experiencing various roles within a ski resort.
Required Education and Experience:
- Some high school or college experience.
- Previous work experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work at a computer.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
