What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pizza Chef position at ARCTARIS SADDLEBACK SKI OPERATIONS LLC?
For Summer/Fall 2025
Basic Function and Overview: The Pizza Chef's responsibilities include preparing pizza dough, slicing and chopping toppings like vegetables and meats, and executing customers' orders considering special requests. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with various pizza types and be able to operate a pizza oven.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare specialty and custom-ordered pizzas.
- Wash and chop vegetables daily, and refresh vegetables as needed.
- Monitor food stock and place orders, as needed.
- Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment.
- Work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment.
- Understand food hygiene.
- Good time management skills.
- Flexibility to work day/night/weekend/holiday shifts
Required Education and Experience:
- Previous kitchen experience.
- Previous pizza chef experience is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to withstand heat from ovens.
- Safe knife/cutlery skills.
